Thingybase

I started Thingybase in 2018, a few weeks before our second daughter was born, while batch-cooking freezer meals and wrestling with a clunky label maker. I wanted to print labels from my phone to a wireless thermal printer and save a searchable record of what we had.

Thingybase lets you organize what you own, print labels from your phone, and search it all later—at home or on the go. You can securely share your inventory with family so everyone can find what they need without asking where it is.

I built it because I love making useful tools; once it transformed our home, I opened it up for others to use. The playful stick figures throughout were inspired by my eldest daughter’s preschool artwork—they’re a small reminder of the joy behind the project.
